Privacy Policy

Last updated October 5, 2026

VectorFront is a free real-time strategy game that runs in your web browser. You can play as a guest without an account, or sign in with Google to keep your record and resume battles on any device. This policy explains exactly what we store and why.

What we store when you sign in with Google

When you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares the following with us, and we store it:

  • Your name, shown on your commander profile.
  • Your email address, used only to identify your account.
  • Your profile picture (a link to the image Google hosts), shown as your avatar.

While you play, we also store:

  • Match history: the map, difficulty, win or loss, match length, and game statistics such as units built, units lost and kills.
  • Saved games: one battle in progress, so you can resume it later.
  • Game settings: graphics quality, last map and difficulty, and whether you have seen the tutorial.

We do not ask for access to your contacts, files, calendar or any other Google data.

Playing as a guest

Guest games, settings and saved battles stay in your browser’s local storage on your device. They are never sent to our servers.

How we use your data

Only to run the game for you: signing you in, showing your record and best times, syncing your settings, and letting you resume a saved battle. We do not show ads, and we do not use analytics or tracking cookies.

No selling, no sharing

We never sell, rent or share your personal data with anyone, and we never use it for advertising. Your data is visible only to you: our database only lets each signed-in player read and change their own records.

We use two service providers to run the game, solely on our behalf: Supabase stores your account and game data (in the United States), and Vercel hosts the website. Like any website, these services and Google Fonts (which supplies the game’s typefaces) receive standard technical information such as your IP address when your browser connects to them.

VectorFront’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, everything is removed immediately.

How to delete your account and data

  1. Open VectorFront and sign in.
  2. Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

This permanently deletes your account, profile, match history, saved game and settings from our servers, and clears them from that device. It cannot be undone.

You can also remove VectorFront’s access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account’s third-party connections. To remove guest data, clear this site’s data in your browser settings.

Children

VectorFront is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
